Public Affairs Director of the Greater Accra Police Command ASP Afia Tenge has revealed that her outfit has intensified its investigations to arrest the four armed robbers who raided The Tadoma Hotel in Tantra Hills, where Asante Kotoko and players were lodging ahead of their game against Hearts of Oak last Sunday.
According to the Asante Kotoko official website, the armed robbers made away with 25,000 Ghana Cedis, after ransacking the rooms of Head Coach David Duncan and General Manager Opoku Nti.
ASP Afia Tenge said the Police will not relent on its effort to bring the perpetrators to book.
“We have not made any headway yet. No arrests have been made as at now but that doesn’t mean we are sleeping. We’ve intensified investigations and we are trying everything we can to bring the perpetrators to book,” Tenge told Kumasi-based Ultimate FM.
