BA United board chairman Peter Nimo has told Starr Sports his club is ready to embrace life in the second-tier league.
According to him, the Sunyani-based side are masters of the Division One League, having secured relegation status in the Ghana Premier League.
BA United have 19 points which is way too low to save them from the drop and with three games to end the season, the club cannot be saved from the claws of demotion.
Despite his club’s readiness to play Division One League football, Nimo said it is painful to see BA United rushing back to the second-tier league.
“It’s painful, we were locked in division one for almost 10 years, we came back and just one year we are going back,” Nimo told Starr Sports.
“It’s not good at all but what we can say, we have learnt our lessons very well. I think we are used to the system, we are masters there so it will not be a problem.”
