Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Darlington Kwasi Agyekum, known in the entertainment circles as Dr Cryme has emphasized the need for musicians who put Ghanaian music on the international map to be consistently projected.
In an interview with Kwame B on Music Lane on Kasapa FM Wednesday, Dr. Cryme bemoaned how some musicians undermined their colleagues when they try to push Ghanaian music in other countries.
“We have to project our music to the world. Some Ghanaian music icons are putting our music on the International map and all they need is a push and not to demoralise them.”.
“Sarkodie’s ‘History in the making’ at the Apollo Theatre was a great one and he should be commended and not criticized. Ghanaian music industry keeps growing when we continue to put our music on the international map.”
Cryme, who has been off the music scene for a very long time, is back with a song titled “Testimony” featuring Stay J.
The Kill Me Shy hitmaker said being a versatile musician, allows him to experiment with different styles, one of which is captured in Testimony.
