Multiple award-winning Highlife artiste, Ofori Amponsah, has made a sudden U-turn about regarding his pastoral duties a journey he began few years ago.
The musician, whose wish is to be an ordinary member of a Christ believing church, has also hinted of returning to secular music. Afori Amponsah who is head of Holy Grounds Sanctuary disclosed he will accept invitations to perform in clubs and shows if the opportunity offers itself.
The ‘Otoolege’ hit-maker recently announced his return to the Highlife scene with a new single ‘Alewa’ featuring Sarkodie.
Amponsah known on stage as ‘Mr. All 4 Real’ told host of Starr Chat Bola Ray, Wednesday, that he has decided to drop his pastoral responsibilities and become a normal church member but was quick to add he still believes in Jesus said “I will no more be a pastor of the Church.”
He added: “I will now be a member of the church…I will still worship with them, that is what I was doing before I became Ofori Amponsah and I will continue doing it.”
Amponsah also dismissed claims that he has disappointed God by returning to highlife.
“I have not disappointed God… I think I am on the right path,” he said.
