Ghana Most Beautiful Embarks on Educational Tour

Pupils of various Public Schools in the country have been encouraged to take their education seriously as it remains one of the surest ways of eliminating poverty, illiteracy and disease regarded as the common enemies of developing countries.

They have therefore been told to aspire to higher heights in the educational ladder irrespective of the institutions they attend as most renowned world leaders today attended less endowed schools but made a mark in the long run.

Winner of 2013 Ghana’s Most Beautiful Lawrencia Ayapoka Anafo who gave the advice during her motivational tour of some basic schools in Tema community 1, appealed to parents to give the needed support to their wards.

“Do not shirk your responsibility as parents but continue to support them in achieving their lifetime dreams”, she noted

According to her, education of children especially those in the less endowed schools in the country remains one of her topmost priorities for which reason the Poka Malsum Foundation was established to sensitize parents on the significance of education.

“Today my visit took me to a number of basic schools in where I had the opportunity of interacting with pupils and teachers and boosting their morale to work towards increasing their lot in education”, she revealed.
