President John Dramani Mahama has finally cast his ballot in the Bole constituency of the Northern region.
The President was accompanied by the Northern Regional Minister Alhaji Mohammed Muniru-Limuna to vote at about 2:30 pm on Saturday.
Earlier there were reports of uniformed military men terrorizing voters on the instructions of the minister which he denied when reached for his comments by ultuimate1069.com.
According to him, he was trying to save the situation as residents complained of some two fake soldiers holding residents to ransom
The President has asked members of the governing National Democratic Congress to conduct themselves with decorum in the presidential and parliamentary primaries.
Voters have so far reported in their numbers at the 8,234 polling centers where about two million members of the party are expected to cast their ballots.
The process is running smoothly in some constituencies but others, including the Ningo-Prampram and the Klottey Korley constituencies have recorded massive anomalies in their voter register system.
Aspirants, Sam George of Ningo-Prampram and Dr. Zanetor Rawlings of Klottey Korley cannot find their names in the register of their constituencies.
Injunctions have been placed on the Akwatia, Ketu South, North Tongu, Nkwanta South, Bunkpurugu and the Chiana Paga constituencies.
