International Trade Fair in Tamale not cancelled

The 20th International Trade Fair Company  jointly organized by the Ghana Trade Fair Company and the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) will come off on December 10, 2015 at the Tamale Sports Stadium Conference hall as scheduled.

Contrary to earlier media reports the event had been cancelled as a result of bad weather in the North, Abdul-Shakuru Zakaria Head of Public Relations (PR) at the Ghana Trade Fair Company, told, that the event has neither been cancelled nor postponed.

“As I speak with you, guests have started arriving in Tamale ahead of the event. I don’t know where the misinformation that the event had been cancelled came from”, he disclosed.

According to Mr. Zakaria, exhibitors have started making their way to the Northern Regional Capital and wondered why some faceless individuals are trying to rob the north the opportunity to showcase its potentials.

The Launch of the Tamale event will be closely followed by another in Accra on Wednesday December 16 2015 under the theme: “Two Decades of International Trade Fair in Ghana: Exploring Business Opportunities in the SADA Zone of Ghana”, aimed at showcasing a vast wealth of business and investment opportunities across the SADA zone.
