‘It depends on the constitution that we use,’ she explained.

She refuted allegations that she attempted to contest as a National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP).

‘I have never ran for a political office for or with any party, in fact I have never been a member of a political party, I have never attended a political party’s meetings, am pretty apolitical, people who know me can tell, it was a lovely surprise to wake up one morning to see my campaign posters, we had a good laugh at it, I have lots of siblings outside the country who saw the poster on social media and called and were like when did this happen,…. it was a nice poster,’ she said.

Madam Osei described the former EC Boss’ Dr. Afari Gyan as a total icon on the political field.
