Nana Addo donates to victims of Nsawam quarry blast

The 2016 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo-Dankwah Akufo-Addo has gone to the aid of victims of the quarry blast that happened at Peabo in the Nsawam/Adoagyire Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region.

Kasapa News’ Eastern Regional correspondent, Kwaku Olegor, who covered the event Wednesday afternoon, reports that Nana Addo gave the victims 250 bags of cement and 400 sets of roofing sheets to assists in resettling them.

27 people sustained various degrees of injuries while several houses and other properties worth millions of Cedis were destroyed in the dynamite explosion which occured at AKY Quarry Site.

Various organizations and dignitaries such as the acting IGP, John Kudalor, the Deputy Interior Minister and the NADMO among others have stormed to the area to empathize with the victims and also give them some relief items.

Olegor further reports that Nana Addo during the presentation expressed worry about the tragedy that had occurred to the people.

He however, appealed to the commuters to vote for him in November 7 polls to restore their lost hope.
