Former President Kufuor’s Convoy involved in Accident (PHOTOS)

The convoy of Former President John Agyekum Kufuor was on Thursday night January 21, 2016 involved in an accident at Mango down near Patasi a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

The police dispatch rider, who was leading the former President to Atasemanso close to the area of the incident, reportedly knocked down a 58-year biker only identified as Samuel Jayer who was riding from the opposite direction.

It is unclear what caused the unfortunate incident, but ultimate1069.com gathered that it was as a result of recklessness on the part of the biker who was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) and is on admission receiving treatment.

Former President Kufuor is in Kumasi to attend the funeral of his elder brother.

Eyewitnesses, who spoke to ultimate1069.com, disclosed that the former president escaped unhurt.
