Don’t vote for hardships-Dr.Mahama tells electorates

The Flag bearer of the Peoples’ National Convention (PNC), Dr. Edward Mahama has entreated electorates in the Upper East Region to desist from voting for political parties which only provide intolerable hardships.

‘Stop voting for political parties which only bring total hardships,’ he advised.

According to him leaders are not elected to be served but rather elected to serve their people hence the need for the citizens to vote for him to serve them.

The Sheega township in the Talensi District came to a standstill over the weekend when Dr. Mahama visited the area on his reaching out tour in the Region.

He intimated that for the past 24 years most parts of Ghana have remained the same with little or no development.

This, he blamed past and present leaders for refusing to appreciate the sufferings of the people.

Dr. Mahama assured that his presidency will focus on creating employment avenues through agriculture which would cut down on Ghana’s dependence on imported food.

On his part, the National Chairman of PNC, Bernard Mornah wondered why Northerners have disassociated themselves from the PNC which has been identified as  a Northern party.

He advised Northerners to take cues from indigenes of Volta and Ashanti Regions who vote massively for certain parties because they see those ones as their own.

The Flag bearer was accompanied by national and regional executives of the party in the Region.
