Give me 3 More Years to pay GHȻ51.2m-Woyome

The Supreme Court on Tuesday threw out an application by  embattled businessman, Mr Alfred A. Woyome praying to the court to give him more time to pay back the GHȻ51.2 million he undeservedly received in a controversial judgement debt.

Mr. Woyome had prayed to  the court to allow him to pay the money by installment, starting with GHȻ8 million at the end of April 2016 with the rest spread within 36 months and paid quarterly and also to allow for a stay of execution.

But the Court rejected his plea  and  cautioned him, to take the it serious but it is gathered that  he heads to the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

It also took exception to the fact that while Mr Ken Anku, counsel for Mr Woyome, had told the media that he was heading to the ICC for arbitration, at the same time, he was in the court seeking to tie the hands of the Attorney-General (A-G) to prevent it from attaching his properties because his client wanted to renegotiate the terms of payment.
