Korle-bu Surgical Units reopen Today

Patients awaiting critical surgeries at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra can heave a sigh of relief as the three surgical units that were shut down  will be reopened today Monday.

The premier hospital had to close its Urology Clinic, General Surgery Clinic and Neurosurgery Clinic for refurbishment.

The closure presented immense challenges to patients and led to the death of a student of the KNUST whose surgery was overly-delayed.

Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Mustapha Salifu assures that all reconstruction works and replacement of equipment has been completed for full take off today.
