Two raids on Thursday evening were conducted at two separate locations by some persons believed to be from the National Security.
The first was at the offices of pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) Think Tank, Danquah Institute (D.I) where the office property was ransacked by the personnel in search of what is yet to be made public leaving the place in a messy state.
It is unclear if the raid is in connection with the recent arrest of three ex-South African Police officers who were in the country at the instance of the NPP to train security details of its flagbearer and vice presidential candidate on crowd management and VIP protection.
Ultimate1069.com, gathered that the Waija residence of Capt (rtd) Edmund Koda, the head of security of the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo who is alleged to have championed the invitation of three expatriates into the country was also not spared.
Major Ahmed Shaik Hazis (rtd), 54; Warrant Officer Denver Dwayhe, 33 and Captain Mlungiseli Jokani, 45 it would be recalled were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit crime and unlawful training.
At the time of going to the press, the NPP was yet to comment on the matter, but members of the party have condemned the raid especially when a court earlier granted bail to the three South Africans but the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) officials whisked them away into unlawful detention.
