MCE Monitors Ongoing Mock Examination in Wa Municipality

The Wa Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Issahaku Nuhu Putiaha is currently leading a team to supervise an on-going mock examination in the Wa Municipality.
The team comprises staff of the Wa Municipal Assembly and the Wa Municipal Education Directorate.
Among the team are the Municipal Director of Education, Hajia Fusata Hamidu, Mr. Osman Sagrepeu who is the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Education Directorate and the Chairman of the Social Services Subcommittee of the Wa Municipal Assembly, Hon. Saeed A. Faruk.
The mock exams is one of many strategies put in place by the Municipal Education Oversight Committee, under the Chairmanship of Hon Putiaha, to arrest the dwindling fortunes of the pupils in Basic Education Certificate Examination  (BECE) in the Municipality.
The examination is fully funded by the Municipal Assembly.
In a short message to the candidates, the Municipal Director of Education, Hajia Fusata Hamidu urged the candidates to put up their best in the mock exams so as prepare them well for the final exams.
She added that the Education Directorate in collaboration with the assembly is leaving no stone unturned to brighten their fortunes in the final exams.
Hon. Putiaha hinted that the assembly will motivate the top 15 students in the mocks examination in the Municipality.
The team has so far, visited Fallahia Islamic JHS and Limanyiri Model JHS.
