Aspirants seeking to represent Hassan Ayraiga’s People’s Congress (APC) at the various constituencies throughout the country as parliamentary candidates are expected to pick nomination forms at a non-refundable fee of GH¢ 200.
It follows an announcement by the leadership of the party that it has opened its parliamentary nominations in order to select candidates for the respective constituencies ahead of the November 7 polls.
General Secretary, Mr. Razak Kojo Poku, said the party’s parliamentary aspirants have up to July 8, to file their nominations.
“Nomination forms could be picked at a non-refundable fee of GH¢200.00 at its national headquarters – Haatso-Westlands (West Legon), between 0800 and 1700 hours”, he said.
A special offer has however been given to persons in their youthful ages and persons with disability who are expected to pay nothing for the forms.
Vetting of all prospective candidates will begin on Monday, July 11, at the party’s regional offices.
