Muniru Sulley wins Romanian League Cup with Steaua Bucuresti

Muniru Sulley picked his first career silverware as he won an extra- time penalty in Steaua Bucuresti’s  2-1 win over Concordia Chiajna on Sunday in the League Cup final. 

The 23-year-old was introduced in the 102nd minute and his wizardly resulted in the penalty which was converted by Jugurtha Hamroun.

Steaua took the lead through Marko Momcilovic on 61 minutes but Concordia Chiajna snatched the equalizer two minutes away from full-time.

Sulley will be playing in his second season for the The Red and Blues who begin their league campaign against CSMS Iaşi on Saturday.
