Accra Hearts of Oak striker, Cosmos Dauda has revealed exclusively to Ultimate Sports that his paltry goals scored at home are due to the fact that he does not take his chances.
Cosmos scored his eighth goal of the season when the Phobians defeated Sekondi Hasaacas by a goal to nil on match day 19 of the Ghana Premier League.
His scoring form in away matches has been remarkable after making a comeback to league with the Hearts of Oak, when he got relegated with Tudu Mighty Jets in 2012.
The goal poacher has scored six goals away from home with three of them scored at the Ohene Djan Stadium.
“Is my fault, I don’t take my chances at home but away I do take my chances. I lost a lot of chances at home which hurts me a lot. Personally, I have decided to work on it.
“For the past three matches, I have scored two at home. Is getting better but my away run has been amazing. I imagine it sometimes and it looks funny [to me]. Is amazing but I just have to accept it, is a plus,” he told Ultimate FM.
Accra Hearts of Oak is top of the league table after match day 19 rounds of matches with 34 points.
