Barring any last minute hitches; Finance Minister, Seth Terkper is expected to present a Supplementary Budget and a Midyear Review to parliament on Monday.
The reading was unable to come of last week Wednesday as some Members of Parliament (MPs) had to pay their last respects to the late MP for Abetifi, Peter Wiafe Pepera.
The Finance Minister is expected to review most of the macroeconomic targets set out in the 2016 budget.
Today’s review is also to reflect the impact of global factors including exchange rate volatilities; commodity and oil prices on the world market.
Observers are also keen on hearing the performance of the economy for the first half of the year and whether or not government is going to meet its targeted budget deficit for an electioneering year.
