My ‘misogynistic’ comment against EC Boss was a joke-Kennedy Agyapong

The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) firebrand and  Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has swallowed his misogynistic comments against the chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) claiming it was a ‘joke’.

The legislator some months ago  while addressing supporters of the party in the Ashanti regional capital Kumasi alleged that Madam Charlotte Osei, exchanged her position for sex.

He received backlash from women groups, calling  on him to retract and apologize.

But speaking on Adom FM’s Morning Show, ‘Dwaso Nsem’  he explained “I said a lot of things on that day, even this one, I was joking, I immediately took my seat after making those comments…yes, I was joking… I can defend myself easily with evidence if am pushed’.

Madam Charlotte Osei and the women groups who issued statements  and demonstrated are yet to respond to his latest reverse comments.
