We won through determination – Dauda Mohammed

Asante Kotoko striker, Dauda Mohammed has revealed that their two zero defeat to Liberty Professionals at the Dansoman Carl Reindolf Park is due to determination.

A first half goal from Dauda Mohammed and a second from defender Eric Donkor handed them all the three points.

Kotoko thus record their second straight win and fifth away victory in the season.

Dauda, who has been switching camps between Kotoko and the national under-20 team said, the experiences he has learnt from Satellites has been spurring him on.

“Our coach [Michael Osei] has taught us a lot and has been learning more in addition,” Dauda said in a post match interview.

“We much determined for all the three points and thankfully we were able to achieve it.”

Kotoko are inching closer at the top of the league after two straight wins – cutting Wa All Stars lead to two points.

They are fourth on the log with 39 points and plays Aduana Stars on Wednesday.
