Technical Director of Ghana Football Association (GFA), Oti Akenten, has showered praises on the quality of play exhibited by clubs in the local league, claiming it has been very good.
It is still unclear which club is in pole position to win this year’s league, with points accumulated very close.
There are erratic changes of position by clubs on the league log after every match day.
Akenten further added per his observations, players have been conditioned very well.
The technical acumen of coaches has been exceptional – this he believes has improved the quality of play compared to previous years.
“Despite the fact the league has been without a sponsor, it been very good,” Akenten told Ultimate FM.
“I have been watching my coaches – if you look at the technical play of various clubs. Looking at the fundamental criteria of all the teams, the coaches have done very well.”
“The technical, psychological, tactical and conditional level has been very good.”
Wa All Stars lead the league table with 45 points after match day 26.
