Police Begin Receiving Applications from Graduates, Others for Enlistment

The Police administration has announced that it will from next week start receiving applications from Graduates and other professionals seeking to be recruited into the Ghana Police Service.

Application criteria according to the service, will be published in the national dailies on Monday, Director of Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service, Superintendent Cephas Arthur has disclosed

Superintendent Arthur stated that the concentration on the latest enlistment is focused on degree holders and other professionals.

 “We are about enlisting graduates into the service… this particular one is concentrating on degree holders,” he disclosed on TV3

He added that the service will also place premium on people who wish to be recruited for general duties as medical doctors or medical specialists including nurses, auditors, communications engineers, public relations practitioners, legal officers among other areas.

He advised prospective police officers to check if they qualify before applying but cautioned the public to mindful of fraudsters who will use the opportunity to defraud prospective applicants.

 “We have not contracted any middlemen to recruit on our behalf,” Supt. Arthur warned.
