The Mother of the late Kumasi-based broadcast journalist Confidence Eric Kwadwo Baah suspects foul play in the death of her son and want those behind the dastardly act arrested.
She is as a result, demanding comprehensive investigations into the whole matter to unmask those believed to have instigated his death and how they went about it.
Details of a postmortem report conducted on the deceased by a pathologist with the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) Dr Osei Sampane, are yet to be made public to establish the actual cause of death.
But Janet Afua Ako maintains his son could not have died of a natural cause taking into account the chronology of events surrounding the mysterious death insisting the security agencies must intensify their operations to ensure perpetrators are apprehended and brought to book.
“I don’t believe my son died naturally so I am appealing to the police to do their investigations well because I suspect foul play” She insisted.
The awarding winning journalist and co-host of “Breaking News” with Kessben Television and FM died barely at the Effiduase Government Hospital after he was spotted motionless by his aunt who rushed him to the facility.
His long time girlfriend identified as Florence Osei, also known as Afua Birago 37 who was reported to have spent the night with him prior to his death was arrested by the Effiduase police but released a day later after the District Commander, DSP Douglas Kumah revealed nothing incriminating was found against her.
