Dec polls: Odike withdraws his nomination Forms from EC

The Presidential nominee of the United Progressive Party (UPP) Akwasi Addai popularly called Odike has withdrawn his nomination from the presidential race in the December polls on personal grounds.

In a letter from  his lawyers to the Electoral Commission (EC), it stated ‘we wish to convey to you and the rest of your commissioners the deepest regret of our client for any inconvenience that this decision may cause you’.

He was part of the 13 candidates who were disqualified by the EC for failing to meet the needed requirements but the EC through the Supreme Court ruling gave them the opportunity to rectify their anomalies.
