The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Bosiako affectionately called Chairman Wontumi, is appealing owners of businesses within Kumasi and its environs to immediately reduce the prices of their wares.
According to him, this should be their way of saying ‘thank you’ to voters for reposing much confidence in the party and its parliamentary candidates across the country.
The NPP claims per provisional results, has won 170 parliamentary seats and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is cruising to victory with a 53.1% over incumbent President John Dramani Mahama with 44.4%.
This Wontumi observes, signal a new dawn in the political history of the country and want businesses to allow residents enjoy the labour of Nana Addo even before he is sworn into office as the next president of the country.
“All NPP loving business men and women should reduce the prices of their goods by half in appreciation of the victory of Nana Addo and the contribution of the voters. We have all done well and must pat ourselves for a great job with this gesture”, he appealed.
