The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo, at his inauguration address at the weekend, was found to have pieces of it lifted from a George Bush speech in 2001.

The office of President Addo has apologised, issuing a statement that said the plagiarism was ‘a complete oversight, and never deliberate’. Speech writer Lissa Muscatine, who has written speeches for both Bill and Hillary Clinton, knows the pitfalls of plagiarism.
