Women in Anyaboni community protest over Fulani herdsmen harassment

Aggrieved women farmers at Anyaboni, a farming community in the Upper Manya Krobo district of the Eastern region are protesting over attacks and harassment on them by Fulani herdsmen.
According to the aggrieved women, they are unable to go to farms because of fear of attack and rape by the Fulani herdsmen who have invaded the community with the cattle and destroying their farms.
The women, clad in red dresses and red headgears on Thursday stormed the district capital, Assesewa to embark on a peaceful match to petition the district police commander, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area and forwarded same to the regional police command.
