Kumaca resumes academic work after temporary closure

Checks by Ultimate News reveal that the Kumasi Academy Senior High School (KUMACA) in Kumasi has resumed full academic activities.

The Co-Educational Senior High School about a month ago was riddled with controversies surrounding the death of 3 students following what doctors said was meningitis.

The school was compelled to postpone their internal examinations and shut down.

However a visit to the school revealed that the students have returned and are writing their exams.

Some of the parents who expressed worry about the development were spotted trooping in to pay their children’s school fees.

In an interview with some of the parents, they said, ‘There have been revelations that the children died because of occultism in the school. Even the food they eat can be questionable. So I have prayed for my child and dipped him in the blood of Christ. If you are a parent and you leave things to chance, you will have yourself to be blamed’.

Another mother said who had brought son entreated other parents to send their children to the school.

‘The school is a good school. What happened recently caused some fear. But we have brought back our children and paid school fees. All the parents should forget about everything and return their wards to the school because we have all prayed enough. This will be the last of such incidents’.
