Accept my apology-Obrafour to Okyeame Kwame

Ghanaian Rapper Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko popularly called ‘Rap Sofuo, has rendered an unqualified apology to Okyeame Kwame ‘Rap Doctor’ to end the rift between them.

He indicated that he had previously apologised  to Okyeame Kwame but will apologise for the second time calling on the Rap Doctor to accept his apology and let things go.

The ‘Pimpina’ hit maker 7 years ago released a hit song titled ‘Kasiebo’ dissing the Rap Doctor.

But speaking to Ultimate FM’s Lunch and Brunch with Naa Klordey Odonkor, the Rap Sofuo revealed that they have been in talking terms lately explaining that the song had no evil intention about Okyeame Kwame.

He indicated that he was just being creative adding that he did not attempt to defame Okyeame Kwame.

‘I have never ever had any problem with anybody, what happened was a misunderstanding, a grave one between me and Kwame, from the Kasiebo song, but it had no ill intention, I did not try to demean him in anyway. God knows my heart. I think it probably didn’t go down well with him, probably perception, everybody has his perception and opinions about things and it went the way it went, but I was the same person who approached and apologised to him way back and am doing it now. I am using your medium to apologise to him that if this did any harm, or brought his name into disrepute in any form, I am apologising, the Bible teaches us to live in peace and harmony with one another, so am asking my brother to let whatever it is to go,’ he said.

Asked if he thinks Okyeame Kwame still holds on the beef, he said, ‘Well you see it will be difficult for me to know his heart, but God knows every man’s heart, so all that I can do is to try to reach him to let it go’.

He indicated that he will release his gospel album (obrafoforo) with 13 songs in two months time declaring his intention to feature Lord Kenya and Rap Doctor on his new album.

Obrafuor indicated that though every album of his has a gospel track, the current one was borne out of his miraculous healing after his sickness.

‘I felt I was dying, my breath was short and my heart was giving up, I was going in and out, I challenged God to prove to me that he really exits…that 40 minutes of miracle from God cemented my faith,  I was brought back from coma, actually it had made me believe in God more, I needed that intervention and it came through for me,’ he said.

He explained that he has promised God to preach his word in his songs to impact lives saying he has already released two gospel tracks urging his fans to grab copies.

Obrafuor asserted that he has not stopped doing hip hop saying the album which is into two section has inspirational and the other is old Obrafuor.
