Head coach for Dormaa-based club Yusif Abubakar has showered praises on the Scientific Soccer Lads for their bravery and attacking instincts during their 2-1 win on Sunday.
Liberty were the first club to score against Aduana Stars at their home grounds in the league but unfortunately lost the game to a hungrier side.
Sam Adams opened the scoring from the spot on the 12th minute but was subsequently cancelled by Bernard Arthur 12 minutes later. However, on the stroke of full time, striker Bright Adjei scored what proved to be the winner for the home side.
Their defeat ends their five game unbeaten run in the league.
“I knew it was going to be a difficult game. I see liberty to be a very good team,” Yussif said after the game.
“All the teams that we’ve played here [in Dormaa], Liberty is the only team that attacks throughout the 90 minutes, unlike other clubs that came here to play defensive game.”
“I congratulated their coach [Michael Osei] for being brave to open up here and that is exactly what we also do when we go out.”
