C/R: Private SHSs yet to record admissions

Some Private Secondary Schools in the Central region and the country as a whole are crying over the free SHS policy as they are yet to record any admissions in terms of this year’s Junior High School graduates enrolment.
The only students who applied for admission this year according to the heads are those who were unable to gain admission last year.
What makes the case, according to the heads is the fact that those students are not many.
Ultimate News check at some of the private schools revealed the highest number of admission this year to be 20.
The heads explained that not only do the private schools risk imminent collapse but also the staff in the school risk losing their jobs as there will not be any money to pay them.
The heads are therefore calling on government to give them a quota of the admissions.
