Authorities at the University of Ghana, Legon has stated that twenty of their students suffered injuries in the Atomic Gas Explosion.
According to the university, the affected students have received treatment at the University’s hospital.
No deaths have been reported yet in the explosion which happened on Saturday evening.
“20 of our students suffered injuries and they received treatment at the University Hospital…16 of them have been discharged and four have been detained for further observation, the Director of Public Affairs of the University Stella Amoah told Accra FM.
It is believed the students were close to the Atomic junction where the gas exploded, killing seven and injuring over hundred people.
