The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Public Relations Officer Billy Anaglatey has called on rumour mongers to desist from spreading falsehood about the Atomic Gas Explosion.
It was speculated that the fire set up by a khebab seller sparked the gas explosion which killed seven and injured over hundred persons.
But Mr Anaglatey has advised the public to leave investigations for the technical experts.
“It is unfortunate and people should leave the investigation for we the technical experts.
“Whoever came out with that information, that person should know that there are technical persons on the ground, so that is not our words…we cannot confirm that,’ he explained on Starr Mid day News.
According to him, the gas explosion could be as a result of other factors which are being investigated by his outfit and other institutions.
However, the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and some of his appointees are currently at the scene.
