Ghanaian Hiplife artiste Emmanuel Nana Appiah Boateng popularly called ‘Kontihene’ has disclosed his plans of constructing the biggest orphanage in the country before he clocks 40 years.
The ‘Asesa’ hit maker said the home which will cost millions of Ghana cedis will be the largest in the country and Africa as a whole.
According to him, the building of the home is to provide shelter for homeless children and orphans who do not have roof over their heads.
Speaking with Naa Klordey Odonkor on Ultimate Brunch and Lunch, he indicated that the children will have the utmost care adding that he will ensure that they are lavished with ‘goodies’ of their choices.
Kontihene added that children have the rights to be happy whether their parents are alive or dead.
The vibrant artiste revealed that he will be 40 years in the next 7-8 years adding that construction will begin soon.
He stressed that he desires to put smiles on the many faces of children whose parents are financially challenged.
‘By the age of 40 years, I should own the biggest orphanage home in the country taking of kids. I will file a lawsuit against anybody whose orphanage home will be bigger than mine,’ he said.
He said he is planning to collaborate with some of the Nigerian artistes especially Nyanya.
Some of the tracks on his new album titled ‘Fire’ include: Right there, Di ma ni nsa’, Sakoaba etc.
‘Right there was premiered on Brunch and Lunch on Friday Saturday October 13, 2017.
The album will be released in December or first quarter in 2018.
