Kumasi: UniSecurities Opens Northern Sector Office

Investment banking firm UniSecurities has positioned itself strategically to serve the Ashanti region and the Northern sector of the country by establishing its main office in the former PHC motors building close to the labour roundabout in Kumasi.

The company has become a game changer in the Fund Management, Pension Management and Corporate Finance Advisory Services Industry since its inception in the year 2010.

By the year 2016, UniSecurities stood shoulder to shoulder with established investment firms and came second among companies that had recorded the highest increase in value of asset under management in the year under review.

UniSecurities has to its credit, Silver Winner of the Ghana Investment Awards 2016 for performing exceptionally as the Investment Advisor of the Year in the fund management category.

Speaking to Ultimate Business at the commencement of operations of the Kumasi office, Northern sector head of UniSecurities Richard Danquah outlined that the company is deploying its full array of services to reach the unserved customers in the Ashanti region and beyond.

He told Ultimate FM’s Ivan Heathcote – Fumador, ‘our business is to do fund management, structured finance, corporate finance and research and the Kumasi office is specially designed and opened to serve clients in the Ashanti and the northern part of Ghana.”

“People should expect a lot more investment education, financial literacy, excellent fund management and diverse range of services and products to help with their individual and organisational finances. People should expect UniSecurities giving a lot of advice on how people can make provision for their retirements and ultimately they should expect a gold standard service,” he pointed out.

Mr Danquah further assured that the services of UniSecurities under his watch will not only be seen to be targeted at the high end income earners in the formal market but also for the “market women, the students, government employees, those in the informal sector, those managing their own businesses and everyone who has funds to manage.”

Even though the office is fully functional and serving clients with its full range of services; the company is expected to organize a grand launch early 2017 to officially introduce its services to the Ashanti Region and Northern Ghana.
