Nana Addo’s Jospong endorsement gives wrong signals – Osafo Marfo

The Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Marfo has stated that the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s endorsement of the works of the Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies Joseph Siaw Agyepong give wrong signals.

He bemoaned the rational behind the President’s endorsement saying its not right for the President to be seen pampering or endorsing known wrong doers in society.

“It’s certainly not right. It will give the wrong signals if you are seen to be pampering or endorsing a known wrong doer…That one is not right,” he pointed out during a forum to launch this year’s national anti-corruption and transparency week in Accra.

The President showered praises on Mr Siaw Agyepong when he paid a facility tour to the Accra Compost and Recycling Plant at Adjen Kotoku despite being accused of engaging in shady deals.

Jospong Group of Companies is being investigated for over pricing contracts under erstwhile Mahama administration.
