The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will organise an interdenominational and thanksgiving service on Thursday December 7, 2017 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The service is to give thanks to the Almighty God on the occasion of the first anniversary of the peaceful and successful general elections chalked last year on December 7, 2017.
The event also marks the first anniversary of the party’s overwhelming victory at the 2016 polls which the former President John Dramani Mahama was unseated.
‘The NPP is pleased to INVITE the general public to an Interdenominational Service to give special thanks to the Almighty. In attendance, will be the President Nana Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Acting National Chairman Freddy Blay and other leading members of government as well as the leadership of other political parties in the country,’ General Secretary John Boadu said in a statement.
