Day 5/Photos: Asantehemaa’s funeral rites

There was firing of musketry (Atrane) by the traditional rulers on Tuesday as the days progress for the final funeral rites of the Asantehemaa Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II.

The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II sat in State to distribute palm wine, received sympathies and donations at the Manhyia palace.

The former first lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, Herbert Mensah, Kumawood actress Emelia Brobbey, US Ambassador to Ghana Robert Jackson and others were spotted at the Manhyia Palace.
