A Police officer and a driver in a Ghana Commercial Bank Bullion Van have died in a deadly head-on collision at Affram Plains South District of the Eastern Region.
The accident which occurred Wednesday also left over 30 others injured hence rushed to the Atibie government hospital.
Dr Arko Akoto Ampaw, the Medical Superintendent at the Atibie government Hospital has confirmed the two casualties but says efforts are being made to save lives of the injured persons on admission.
The deceased persons were in the Ghana Commercial Bank Bullion Van which operates in Nkawkwa and Affram Plains South district. The Bullion Van collided head-on with the Benz Bus with registration number GT 724 -F from the opposite direction.
Reports say the Bullion Van driver was speeding and allegedly overtaking several vehicles on the road.
