Authorities at Ejisuman Senior High School have called on the National Security, BNI and Ministry of Gender and Social Protection to conduct a proper investigation into the allegations made by some students in the school against the teachers for sexual assault.
A 21-year old student of the school has disclosed that she and her school mates mostly engage in sexual bouts with their teachers in order to pay their fees.
The Board Chairman for Ejisuman SHS Rev. Paul Atta Nsiah speaking at a press conference said the sexual harassment allegation made by some female students is putting the name of the school in the mud.
Rev. Paul Atta Nsiah denied allegation that the school did not register three (3) students following their suspension.
He therefore accused the Nkosohene of Ejisu Traditional Council Nana Kofi Poku for helping the students to break the school’s rules and regulations due to his relationship with them.
According to him, Nana Kofi Poku has been accusing teachers of having sexual affair with the students and he is also been accused by the teachers as having sexual affairs with the students.
“An unlawful interference of Nana Poku in the administration of Ejisuman Senior High in terms of students discipline makes his membership detrimental to the school in terms of respect for authority and moral behavior of the students.
He added that the teachers have vehemently denied any allegation of sexual misconduct with a student and called for evidence.
Nana Kofi Poku, Nkosohene of Ejisu Traditional Council speaking to the media also denied the allegation made by the teachers leveled against him.
According to him, Ejisuman SHS will be closed down if he comes out with evidence to back his allegation charging the teachers to come out with their allegations.
