Black Stars’ Skipper Asamoah Gyan has described as ‘fake news’ attempts by him to bailout Stonebwoy from Zylofon media following the tension that is brewing between the two.
It was reported in the media that Asamoah Gyan was planning to settle some contractual monies given to the ‘One Thing’ crooner Stonebwoy.
But in a Tweet by the striker’s management it said, ‘We are asking the publishers to retract and withdraw the fake news circulation immediately. Mr. Asamoah Gyan hasn’t been approached by any representation from Stonebwoy nor does he want to engage in controversy (If any) between the said artiste and the Zylofon Media.
‘We want to state emphatically that Mr. Asamoah Gyan has a very good working and personal relationship with Stonebwoy and Mr. Nana Appiah, the CEO of Zylofon media. Asaomah Gyan is deeply interested in keeping same positively strong and ongoing’.
There has been some confusion in the camps of Zylofon media and Stonebwoy after controversial dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, who happens to be Stonebwoy’s rival was signed to the multi million record label.
Stonebwoy is alleged to have fired gunshots when Bulldog and some management members of Zylofon attempted to seize his Benz from him at the Paloma hotel in Accra.
