Ghana’s youngest ever Boxing Champion, Isaac Dogboe will arrive home in Ghana on Tuesday night to a hero’s welcome as hundreds of Ghanaians prepare to welcome him after his heroics in the ring on Saturday in the USA.
Isaac Dogboe, 23 years defeated his American counterpart and then Champion Jessie Magdaleno by knocking him out in the 11th round of their scheduled 12 rounds WBO super Bantamweight championship bout in Philadelphia.
With this win, the new WBO Super Bantamweight Champion is officially Ghana’s youngest ever boxing Champion and has a fight record of 19 wins with 14 of them by way of Knockouts and no defeat.
Isaac Dogboe and his #TeamDogboe contingent are set to arrive at the Kotoka Airport on Tuesday night with the world Championship Belt he won from Jessie Magdaleno.
Isaac Dogboe who is trained and coached by his father Paul Dogboe represented Ghana at the 2012 Olympic Games held in London.
