Reports reaching out to Ultimatefmonline.com indicate that the Ghana Education Service (GES) has sent auditors to look into the books of Aduman Senior High School in the Ashanti region.
This comes after the headmaster Francis Yao Agorsor was transferred to another unknown region.
The auditing, according to some teachers in the school is a standard practice which occurs whenever a headmaster/headmistress is transferred or going on retirement.
The headmaster was instructed in his transfer letter to handover last week.
The education director of Afigya Kwabre district Mrs Stella Ofori Atta is acting as the headmaster.
85 out of the 99 teaching and non teaching staff in January this year submitted a number of petitions to the education ministry and the education service demanding the removal of the Francis Yao Agorsor.
They accused Mr Agorsor of disrespecting and abusing teachers at will and extending same to the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) members.
A three-member committee was set up to investigate the claims after the teachers staged a sit-down strike.
Thirty four teachers have also been transferred for non-performance to various schools in the region.
Some of the teachers who spoke to Ultimatefmonline.com on condition of anonymity said some of the teachers were rejected with the excuse that there were no vacancies in the schools they were posted to.
Months ago, about thirty four teachers were threatened to be transferred if the leadership of the staff did not rescind their resolve not to work with the school’s headmaster.
