She told the Otumfuo, “We have actually dubbed the month of May the ‘Month Of Ashanti’ in the business and we are doing a number of activities to empower the people of the Ashanti region.”

She outlined, “We are doing SME clinics, and we are doing health fairs where we are testing people for medical conditions and actually giving them free medication. We are also doing digital training as well for the kids making sure that kids get into the digital era through instant education.”

Yolanda Cuba also expressed the excitement of the company to continue partnering the Otumfuo Golf Tournament which is expected to come off at the end of this month.

“I have been following the activities and my birthday falling on the month of May, I see myself being in the Vodafone mood the whole of this month,”Otumfuo stated.

He suggested, “I think Ashanti is more of a commercial spot in Ghana with a lot of banks, commercial and business activities and therefore I look forward to a situation where Vodafone will be able to penetrate properly and while you do the collaboration and the partnership to enhance the business development in Ashanti and the Brong Ahafo regions, it is a win-win situation.

He added, “I will encourage you to come up with very innovative programs because even though you have done so much, there is still more to do.”

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II also expressed his anxiety about the upcoming Otumfuo Annual Golf Tournament which has Vodafone as its headline sponsor.
