The former President Jerry John Rawlings has entreated the first vice chairperson of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Anita Desooso to desist from using bleaching soaps.
Mr Rawlings observed that Madam Anita Desooso is becoming too fair and must be stopped saying bleaching soaps and creams are not good for the skin.
His comments follow Anita Desooso’s apology to him during the 39th June 4 revolution commemoration at Madina in Accra for the bad things done to him during Mahama administration.
Responding to the apology, the former president mocked, “She is getting too fair, let’s stop those things we use on the body, let’s stop using that soap, it’s not good. She says she is my daughter so let me say it; tomorrow too come and say I’m your father,”.
The former military leader charged supporters of the party to work hard to improve conditions and go back to their values.
“In spite of all these issues let us, as a party, not overlook the challenges plaguing our party. Let’s work to improve conditions and go back to our values” he urged.
