The Black Stars of Ghana held their first training session in Ethiopia on tuesday as they begin preparations for the 2019 AFCON qualifier with the Harambee Stars of Kenya.
Ghana will be taking on Kenya in the second group clash of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers on Saturday in Nairobi.
Ghana’s coach Kwasi Appiah and his technical team arrived in Ethiopia on Monday with majority of the invited players also arriving on the same day.
Of the 20 players invited to camp, 19 players are now available for today’s training session with Harrison Afful expected to arrive on Wednesday.
Ghana began the AFCON qualifiers with an emphatic victory over Ethiopia in 2017 with goals from Asamoah Gyan, John Boye, Ebenezer Ofori and a brace from Rapheal Dwamena.
